University of Wolverhampton LGBT Staff Network
The name of the committee is the University of Wolverhampton LGBT Staff Network.
To develop networking opportunities with other for LGBT staff within the University of Wolverhampton and with other LGBT groups.
Build communication channels for the people we represent.
Develop and encourage support from Stonewall.
Support each other in creating and running employee groups.
Share best practice and ideas to network members.
Explore opportunities to work with national charities around LGBT issues.
Open to all LGBT employees of the University of Wolverhampton and franchise institutions.
The Committee shall be made up of elected members.
The Committee will be reviewed annually at an Annual General Meeting where members of the network shall be entitled to attend and vote at the meeting.
The Committee seeks to be representative of all schools and departments of the University of Wolverhampton.
Meetings and proceedings of the Committee
The Committee will meet regularly to discuss and progress previous meeting points.
Members of the Committee will be responsible for agreeing venue and times of Committee meetings.
The Committee may call an ordinary meeting of Network members providing no less than 30 days notice.
The chairperson will act as chair at the meetings. If the chairperson is absent, members of the Committee present will chose one of their number to be the chair of the meeting.
Annual General Meeting
There shall be an Annual General Meeting of the Network, which will be held each June
The Annual General Meeting shall be called by the Committee with at least 30 days notice given.
Before any other business is discussed at the Annual General Meeting the persons present shall appoint a chairperson.
